Plus try a pillow under your shoulder at night or sleep sitting in a recliner which keeps the shoulder from pulling backwards. Use ice to knock down the swelling. I was told go 20 minutes ice 20 minutes heat. My brothers physical therapist told him that just ice makes the body heal it self faster due to having to heat the area up & causing higher circulation creates healing.

Okay. I am in the 8th grade and there is a girl in my cl who was showing off her cuts in homeroom this morning. It really freaked me out and left me feeling shaken. If you do put him in the cot you could try raising the legs at the head end at little so that the cot is on a slight lean to help his nose drain. I also put a little Vicks vaporub inside a tissue, then fold it up and safety pin it to the inside of my baby's sleep suit - between the suit and his vest - when he has a cold just to help him breathe better (because you can't use it on a baby's delicate skin until they're around two years old). How on earth can I get my dog to allow me to cut her nails?

I have a 4 year old Basenji mix. She is the sweetest thing in the world, except when I or anyone else tries to clip her nails. I've had her since she was 7 weeks and played with her paws and nails from the very start just for this reason. Her nails are super long and sharp (even after walks everyday on the cement) They are clear so I can clearly see how far to cut is too far. At the groomers it takes usually 4-5 people to hold her in the right spots to get those nails clipped and on average it can take 30-60 minutes. She just fights it terribly. No amount of treats or soothing helps. I cannot afford to take her to the vet and have them sedate her for a couple hundred bucks when she needs those nails clipped. Is there something I can do or give her to calm her down to allow me to cut her nails????? I've tried the dremmel type products as well (pedicure, etc) and that was even WORSE!!! I even let her play with it for like an hour before I tried. There was not a chance that thing was getting near her. I am at my wits end, they are long and sharp and I have bruises all over me from her nails - playing, snuggling or just when she wants my attention. When she plays with other dogs, sometimes they end up getting hurt as well. PetSmart has given up on me and her. I just don't know what else to do. I just can't believe that such a well trained, sweet dog, won't let me just give her a little clip! Please help me and my precious baby get those nails trimmed.

I live in Brantford, Ontario Canada. The winter usually starts in mid Nov. and lasts up until the end of March. I'll speak in farenheit for the benefit of my American friends. The cold days can get as low as minus 30f and total snow fall aculation for a typical winter averages about 90 inches. This tear was an exception. The weather never got below 0F and the snow fall was less then 40inches in total. This was the warmest winter on record, as well the first time no snow fell on the ground in March. If I'm not mistaken, more snow fell in the southern states, Texas in particular, then it did here.

I am 16, and I am currently living with my aunt and uncle. My aunt is my dads sister. Both of my parents are deceased. Why cant i get full!?

ok i just ate an entire bag of popcorn, 2 pop tarts, and an entire thing of ritz crackers. i ate all of that in about 10 mins. i have noticed that i havent been able to get full so i did this as an experiment and im still hungry! i thought i might have a tape worm but i researched it and i dont have any of the symptoms. this is a problem because im eating more and this is mamking me gain weight and when i dont eat i feel hungry and i get really agitated. im a 17 year old guy.

How do I know if my female rabbit has really been spayed?

Okay I recently bought a female rabbit from a lady that could no longer care for her due to health reasons. Now she had told me that she got her from the Humane Society, which then I would ume my rabbit (Nalla is her name) would be spayed, right? But she humps all her stuffed animals, one bear about her size especially, and she is our only rabbit. And also I was petting her, she loves to have her back scratched she lick my free hand the whole time I scratch her back, cute huh! Anyway that's not my point, got a bit off track, anyway I was petting her and was patting her very fluffy little tale and all of a sudden she lifts her rear end as she would to a male rabbit I would ume. So would she still do this even though she has been spayed? And she is about 3 years old and I again would ume she had been spayed quite some time ago because there aren't any visible surgery scars or any sign that is has been done recently. So what makes her so..... "horny" I guess would be the word to describe her actions! Oh and we have a neutered male cat ( fixed many, many years ago) and a spayed female dog. Now Nalla just loves our dog to death and always wants to cuddle and snuggle up with her even though Sammy (our dog) isn't a small dog she is a mutt and about the size of a Lab, but Nalla just always wants to cuddle with her and that's all but the cat, now there's another story! Nalla, when ever she is near the cat, the first thing she does is mount the poor cat and hump his brains out! Which of course since rabbit bite when they hump, the cat flees for his male cat pride! I think berries woudl be fine. It's cut fruits that would seep juice from their cut surfaces that probably won't do so well on fondant. Figs may work if not too ripe, and you lay them skin-side towards the fondant.

Hmm, I don't know, the only clubs that are a chance to fold because of financial problems are the Kangaroos, Bulldogs and Demons. The Kangaroos have won't go down because they have Brayshaw now, and they seem to be out of the woods. If they do go bankrupt, they will relocate. The Bulldogs are gaining many more members due to their great performance so far this season. I would be surprised to see them go. The Demons have a lot of support behind them, and a new chairman, so they should be alright, but they are the club most likely to fold. The AFL should be helping existing clubs before it tries to establish new teams, it just doesn't make sense!

My coworker is trying to get me fired.?

Heres the jist of if, I had some issues with a coworker, about 10 in fact. I told my supervisor about them and she told me to talk to him about them directly. Heres the background, I work security, while I take my job serious he does not, among the issues were; I patrol while he does homework. I work the lobby in a military manner, he sits and does homework. I watch cameras and write reports, he does homework. On top of this he is fat, lazy, and messy. During the confrontation I talked about the lack of work and that he was doing too much homework, (up to 7 hours on a 8 hour shift) I talked about him making a mess in the office, (leaving chicken grease next to the computer, leaving trash and food in several places after I just disenfected and cleaned the office) I addressed the issue of him switching the igned schedule to fit in more homework. So heres how it went, I started with him not being alert causing potential danger for me and for him, I gave a couple examples of him not paying attention to his surroundings and getting hurt because he doesnt know whats going on around him (due to homework) and the fact that if something were happening outside that we wouldnt have to walk into a potentially dangerous situation if we were paying attention instead of doing homework. As soon as I told him about these things he started cussing me out, threating me, and making wild accusations as to why I would have these issues with him, after the discussion he wrote the supervisor saying that he was in fear for his life and no longer wanted to work with me. I know enough that to even make someone fear for thier life verbally is ault, I have children and this is my sole source of income, he has no kids and is also an accountant, I need my job more than he does and he knows what ons to push to get me fired instead of taking responsiblity for his own actions. It was not my intent to get him fired but to just get him to perform better, its not fair for me to get paid the same amount as someone that does not perform and even endagers those around him. I think that he blew this out of proportion to make me look like the bad guy taking attention away from the fact that hes not doing his job, I was just following orders and trying to do the right thing. He recently would not be in the same room as me, when I get to work he runs into other rooms and out the door or has someone walk him wherever he is going, I did nothing wrong and tried to be as proffessional as possible, now 5 days after the altercation I get pulled from the job, I have no hours and he is still there. How should I handle this situation? If I get fired because of his blowing this out of proportion (basically lying) is that slander?
