Will it be worth the investment to get a Symphony Orchestra's music director & conductor to teach me violin?

I want to learn violin and have music background in piano. Do you think it is more worthwhile to learn violin from a Symphony Orchestra's music director *** conductor who has a broad experience by paying more or just find a normal violin teacher? I don't really mind paying a bi more but I'm thinking if it's necessary at beginner's stage.
