Cancer and Aquarius girl?

Hey, i just wanted to know how compatible me and my girlfriend are-based on astrology. We get along pretty well but sometimes...our personalities clash a little bit. I've read about Cancer girls and Aquarius guys or vise vera. But (and im not surprised) i can't find Cancer girl and Aquarius girl. I don't know if gender affects the compatibility between both signs or not. I'm a 14 yr old Aquarius girl and my girlfriend is a 16 almost 17 Cancer girl. So if you could give me some info on how well we are bound to get along or what i can do to try and adapt to her personality or what she likes (i.e snuggling, intimacy etc.).
