Snake feeding habits question?

Garters generally prefer fish, earthworms and other foods like that. They don't eat mice as a primary food source although many breeders transition them onto them. There are plenty of garter snake care sheets out there. Check into the nutrition of feeder goldfish. I think I read somewhere that feeding only feeder fish can lead to a nutritional deficit, and there were alternative fish given.
